2004 JUL 1 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- HealthPartners Research Foundation and Breastfeeding Support Center are conducting a study to determine the effectiveness of medical advice, the usefulness of breast pumps, and the impact of stress on the milk supply of mothers who return to work outside the home and experience a reduction in their milk supply.
"We are really excited about the study because it affects so many women who work and breastfeed," said Kris Fortman, PhD, principal investigator for the HealthPartners Research Foundation. "With our results we can confidently provide women with the best guidance towards continuing breastfeeding and maintaining their milk supply."
