QUESTION: In the "nutrition facts" for Kellogg's Just Right cereal, it says a 1-cup serving has 49 grams of carbohydrates, 15 grams of sugar and 31 grams of other carbohydrates. Are all carbohydrates converted to sugar? If so, would there be 49 grams plus 15 grams of sugar, for a total of 64 grams, in a cup of cereal? Are the "other carbohydrates" sugar as well? I am a diabetic and concerned about the intake of too much sugar.
