Apr. 5--The Thai unit of Dupont, the diversified US chemical and industrial giant, expects its total revenue will decrease 20 percent this year from 5.5 billion baht last year as a result of Dupont's global divestiture of its fibre business.

Montri Simagrai, managing director of Dupont (Thailand), said the loss of the fibre business would significantly affect the Thai operation as the business, including nylon and polyester operations, contributed

about 20 percent of Dupont's sales in Thailand. Total sales last year of the fibre business was 25 million baht.
