Apr. 10--TAMPA, Fla. -- It's crunch season for Lenzo R. Canty.
The week before the last day to file taxes, April 15, is grueling for the Tampa accountant, as it is for many other professional tax preparers.
More people than ever, he says, are turning to professionals to prepare and file taxes. That means more business, which is good, but more work, which can be tough on independent operations such as Canty's.
To keep things manageable this year, Canty decided to spread the load.
