Jan. 23--In the week since a woman was electrocuted while walking her dogs, Con Edison has uncovered at least four other hot spots leaking electric current, the Daily News has learned.
A possible fifth location was reported to Con Ed yesterday after a dog was zapped as it walked over a temporary service line, known as a shunt, on the upper East Side.
"[The dog] went into the air," said Susan Cava, who was out for an afternoon on E. 84th St. off York Ave. with a friend's cocker spaniel. "It was crying and whimpering."
