BALTIMORE -- Choices Entertainment Corp., a locally owned chain of video stores that has struggled since its beginning in 1986, is embroiled in a lawsuit with a company it courted just last year.
Alabama-based Cobb Prime Time Video Inc. filed suit against Choices on Nov. 25 in U.S. District Court in Alabama, claiming Choices breached a July purchase agreement by not paying more than $200,000 it owed Cobb's owners.
Choices filed a counterclaim Dec. 27 in U.S. District Court in Baltimore, claiming it was Cobb's declining revenue that nixed the agreement.
