RESHUFFLE IN WORLD RANKINGS OF PRIME SHOPPING STREETS
The first six months of 1991 has seen a slow retail market on a global scale, with retail rents static or falling, reflecting the slowdown in world economic growth. These are the findings of international real estate consultants Healey & Baker in their June edition of Main Streets across the World report.
Kaufinger Strasse in Munich remains Europe's premier retailing street where prime retail rents are $242 per sq.ft while Vienna and Paris are close contenders for the number two position in the rankings.
