Spas Emerge as Hottest Businesses in Thailand with 100 Percent Profits.

May 6--Spas are now one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative businesses in Thailand, with profit margins exceeding 100 percent.
The spa industry has lately attracted a flood of new investors due to its high profit potential, said the president of the Thai Spa Association, Napalai Areesorn, at a recent seminar held by the Marketing Association of Thailand.
"You may be asked to pay only 200 baht for a body massage by a professional masseuse outside a spa. But once you get inside a spa, a session with a spa therapist could cost you 1,000 baht," Ms Napalai said.
