May 3--Tomorrow's launch of a Bangkok-Milan route by Thai Airways International Plc is expected to give a boost to the government's plan to push the capital as an international fashion hub.
THAI president Kanok Abhiradee said the route would help bring more Thai students to study design and fashion in Milan, one of the most renowned fashion cities in the world.
To promote Thailand's fashion industry, the national carrier will hold a fashion show displaying the creations of four leading Thai design brands: Nagara for Jim Thompson, Pichita, Mae Fah Luang and Kai, at the official launch party in Milan on May 20. ...
