May 8--When it comes to business, competition knows no bounds, even for sibling brands owned by the same company.

Such is the case in Thailand where Rich Sport Co, the local distributor of Converse shoes and accessories, is seeking to overtake Nike, which bought the Converse brand last year for US$305 million, for second place in Thailand's three-billion baht casual and sports shoe market by the end of this year.
