Kerry Raises Hopes, Funds in Ohio Campaign Stops.

Jun. 16--John Kerry brought his presidential campaign back to the battleground state of Ohio on Tuesday with stops in Cincinnati and Columbus.

In Columbus, Kerry said he's been to Ohio so many times that one more trip will mean he'll have to pay state taxes, two more stops will allow him to vote here and three more trips will get him on the waiting list for Ohio State football tickets.

The senator from Massachusetts spoke to 2,000 supporters for nearly 30 minutes at an outdoor rally at a Columbus park during showers. In Cincinnati, it rained money as the Kerry team raised $1 million from a $1,000-a-plate lunch at a crammed downtown ballroom. And many of the …
