Ryan Hunter-Reay marked his turf at Wisconsin State Fair Park as emphatically as the alpha male timber wolf marks his pack's corner of the Yukon. Hunter-Reay led all 250 laps. Had it not been for seven caution periods, he would have lapped all 17 of his opponents, probably twice.
The suspense lasted a dozen laps, by which point Hunter-Reay was already 2.5 seconds clear of second place and lapping the first backmarker.
