Fellows back to Trans-Am
Two-time Le Mans winner Ron Fellows will make his return to the Trans-Am series July 30 at Trois-Rivieres. Fellows will drive a Chevrolet Corvette fielded by Derhaag Motorsports, teaming with longtime Trans-Am competitor Randy Ruhlman.
Fellows ranks seventh in all-time Trans-Am wins with 19 and returns to the series for the first time since 1997. He has scored 40 podiums, 60 top-five and 72 top-10 finishes, and in 96 Trans-Am starts secured 13 pole positions. He also led the most race laps in three straight seasons (1994, '95 and '96). Fellows won the GTS class at Le Mans in 2001 and 2002. He has also won Sebring twice, as well as two American Le Mans Series titles.
