A: I did a little research on this, since capri pants are once again a fashion favorite. According to the Home Sewing Association, there is no must-have length, but the typical capri falls somewhere mid-calf. Some hems are as low as inches above the ankle (cropped), and as high as just below the knee (clam-digger). Home-sewers can cut pants to the length they find most flattering.
