* Since Cosmo is the single girl's bible, you might be surprised to find a big article about pregnancy in this issue ("What It's Really Like to Be Pregnant," page 138). But we figured that, with "all the celebrities who've been popping out babies these days, you're probably wondering what it feels like to be pregnant and (yikes) give birth. Do you really get strange food cravings? Does your body ever return to normal? Does delivery hurt like hell?
I have two children and I loved being pregnant though my body did go a bit weird on me. I craved Caesar salads and sometimes ate several a day. (I almost wondered if I was going to give birth to a head of romaine lettuce.!) I also became nauseatingly sentimental--a commercial with the Pillsbury Doughboy actually made me tear up.
Well, we're going to give you all the information you need. But first, I thought it would be interesting to share what scares or worries some of your fellow Cosmo readers about being pregnant.
