Racquetball & Fitness, others looking to expand
San Antonio-based Racquetball & Fitness Inc. has broken ground on a $1 million addition to its Hill Country Village health club and is looking at building another local facility. What's more, other health clubs are planning to beef up their presence in the local market.
Racquetball & Fitness started the 10,000-square-foot expansion of its 30,000-square-foot main club at 15759 San Pedro Ave. last week, according to company President Bruce Hendin. In late October, the chain purchased the San Pedro structure from Heller Real Estate Property Inc. for $585,000, according to Bexar County District Court records. …
