Peugeots disqualified
The FIA has disqualified the Peugeot 307 WRC race cars of Marcus Gronholm and Harri Rovanpera from the Cyprus Rally (AW, May 24) for illegal water pumps. Sebastien Loeb was declared the Cyprus winner and the ruling drops Gronholm from the championship lead to fourth, behind Loeb, Markko Martin and Petter Solberg. Peugeot can appeal the decision, but so far company officials say it won't.
