T-ID(TM) and IEEE 1451.4 TEDS compliance use identification module that enables both analog measurement signal and transducer data, stored in digital format, to be retrieved without extra wiring. In T-ID(TM) system, each sensor has ID number that is recognized by integrated database software and can automatically configure amplifier for taking measurements. When using TEDS system, all data needed to configure measurement system is stored in transducer chip.
