Jun. 7--Samitivej Sriracha Hospital, an affiliate of Samitivej Plc, plans to invest about 200 million baht over the next two years on building renovations and new medical equipment.

"Having come out of the financial crisis, we are now moving in the growth lane and expanding our business," said Somchai Pattana-Anek, director of Samitivej Sriracha Hospital in Chon Buri.

According to Mr Somchai, the funding for expansion is likely to come from an increase in registered capital or loans. The hospital currently has registered capital of 185 million baht.
