Jun. 7--Thai negotiators say any discussion regarding the liberalisation of financial services in the upcoming free-trade talks with the United States must consider Thai law, the Thai constitution and the current financial services master plan.

A high-level committee chaired by Finance Minister Somkid Jatusripitak will meet tomorrow to set a framework for the upcoming talks with the US.
