A range of positive and negative job market expectations across the Greater Los Angeles area this fall will result in little overall change in conditions, according to the results of the Fourth Quarter 1991 Employment Outlook Survey conducted by Manpower Inc., one of the world's largest temporary help firms.
Hank Hinse of Manpower said that local employment projections, released recently for the October/November/December period, indicate that 18% of businesses interviewed intend to add staff, 15% plan workforce reductions and 59% expect to remain at current levels. The remaining 8% are undecided.
