Jun. 4--Local oil traders will face new reporting requirements as concern rises about possible irregularities and price speculation in the volatile world market.
The Commerce Ministry said yesterday that it would order oil traders and refineries to submit details of the composition, value and volume of imports of petroleum products.
Authorities plan to investigate importing patterns over the past several months to see if any irregularities had occurred indicating price speculation.
