There's no shortage of crowd-pleasers this summer. So reserve your tickets, and line up early. Our favorite don't-miss shows:

* Tutankhamun--The Golden Beyond: Treasures From the Valley of the Kings , at the Antikenmuseum in Basel, Switzerland, through Oct. 3, brings together 50 small but choice objects from the famous tomb.

* Joan Miro, 1917-34 focuses on the best two decades in the Catalonian artist's long career in abstraction. At the Centre Pompidou in Paris through June 28.

* Schwitters/Arp gathers 140 works by the two most renowned collagists of the 20th century (Kurt Schwitters got the technique from Hans Arp, who learned from Picasso). Through Aug. 22 at the Kunstmuseum in Basel.
