Jun. 1--The National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) yesterday approved investment budgets worth a total of 303 billion baht for 49 state enterprises.
The budgets for fiscal year 2005 starting on Oct 1, were up 24.2 percent from the 244 billion baht approved in fiscal 2004, according to Chakramon Phasukvanich, the NESDB secretary-general.
Of the total, 109 billion baht would come from the state enterprises' own revenue, 67.7 billion from the general government budget, 44.5 billion from foreign lenders, 67.4 billion from domestic loans, and the remainder from other funding sources.
