2004 JUN 3 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The New York city health clinics that are required by law to provide emergency contraceptives for free are doing so, health officials said in refuting a City Council survey that said otherwise.

A council survey of 36 district clinics found that only 10 clinics carried the contraceptives, also known as "morning after" pills.
