Step-Up DC/DC Converter suits battery back-up applications.(10V Synchronous Step-Up DC/DC Converter with Output Disconnect Is Ideal for Battery Back-up Applications)
Housed in SOT-23 package, LTC3459 consists of 10 V synchronous boost DC/DC converter with onboard output disconnect and inrush current limiting. It operates from input voltage of 1.5-5.5 V, and, at 5 V input voltage, generates 8 V @ 30 mA. Features include constant off-time architecture, short circuit protection, and Burst Mode[R] operation, which uses only 10 [micro]A of quiescent current. Product maintains regulation of VOUT even when below VIN.
