Through a partnership with the Woman's Club of Charleston and the American Red Cross, Carolina Lowcountry Chapter, students in the Charleston County School District will soon learn how to prevent, prepare for and recover from disasters.

The Woman's Club of Charleston received a grant recently from the S.C. General Federation of Women's Clubs. With the grant money, the Woman's Club of Charleston purchased Masters of Disaster Kits for teachers to use in Charleston County schools.
