Forte converts System C into RTL code with tool.

A behavioural synthesis tool that converts SystemC descriptions of hardware into RTL code has been announced by Forte Design Systems. Called Cynthesizer, the tool takes high level models and produces fully timed RTL code, said the firm. The tool supports verification and co-simulation.
