Senna still inspires
Ayrton Senna (May 3) taught me about commitment, to be decisive in action and thought, to win at all costs if necessary and sacrifice someone you love or even your own life. In this new millennium, many records have fallen. But in no measure have people such as Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, Jesse Owens, Mickey Mantle and Senna faded into obscurity. They remain the great ones, people who inspired us to believe in ourselves and become better persons.

Championing Champ Cars
Road racing fans should hang in there with Champ Cars. The Long Beach event was great. In NASCAR-esque fashion, I decided to add a loaded Volvo S80 to the Expedition I have, as Ford supports the series I enjoy.
