Boeing gets $1 bil NASA contract
The space agency has extended Boeing's work on the International Space Station for a basic period of 2 years and 9 months. The contract also contains 4 6-month options that could bring the total value to about $1.62 bil. The jet maker will provide and maintain hardware and software for the space station and manage most of its subsystems. Shares rose after hours.

Amerisource plunges on lost pact
The drug distributor's shares dived 10% to 57.33 after it lost a $3 bil Veterans Affairs contract to McKesson. AmerisourceBergen now expects to earn $4.10-$4.20 a share in fiscal '04, up about 5%. It had expected a 15% rise to $4.50-$4.60. McKesson's shares rose 3%.
