Longtime team owner Derrick Walker (above) is back in the Champ Car picture. As AutoWeek went to press, Walker was expected to announce a single entry for the 2004 season.
Walker lost sponsor Corona and driver Rodolfo Lavin (now with Forsythe Racing) at the end of last season, and his Champ Car prospects were looking bleak. It is not clear how his team will be funded, but Walker was pondering three potential drivers for this season: former Prost F1 driver Tomas Enge, Toyota Atlantic race winner Michael Valiante and CART's Mario Haberfeld.
