Dodging the Golf
Let's see, for the same $29,000 I can get a factory-tuned Golf (Cover Story, March 22) or a boss-looking Dodge Magnum (March 22) with a monster Hemi and all the accessories I want. The Magnum positive-ly growls while standing still and seats the whole family and friends in comfort. I know there are different strokes for different folks, but it's ironic you reviewed these cars on consecutive pages. It looks like Dodge is giving you a lot more car for the money.

Tired of the blame game
I'm amazed car buyers (and magazine writers!) chastise manufacturers and dealers for offering performance cars with summer-only tires (Letters, March 22). Any car equipped with this type of tire provides many warnings to the buyer/driver: sales literature, window stickers and tire markings.
