To say I'm pleased with the Mazda 3 would be an understatement. This car is a great choice for those who like to be involved in the driving experience. The engine has good torque and is strong at high rpm, while the precision and smoothness of the gearbox is equal to a Honda's. The adjustable steering wheel and generous seat adjustments make it easy to find a comfortable seating position. The interior is comfortable yet functional with well-placed controls. The fit-and-finish and paint quality are also excellent. I just wish it had more supportive seats and a better stereo.

We love the European look of the car. We considered the Protege5, but it didn't have much acceleration. The 3 is quick and responsive, the clutch is almost perfect and it handles wonderfully. The controls are logically placed and my tall frame was very comfortable with plenty of headroom. The five-door even swallowed a king-size mattress. I enjoy driving this car far more than any other car I have owned.
