RFIDs add credit card security
MasterCard has been experimenting with radio frequency identification (RFID) tags in its credit cards in an effort to streamline the payment process. People could pay for goods by swiping the cards at special tills. MIT professor Ted Selker suggests adding a layer of security to that by linking a specific finger gesture to the data, producing a difficult-to-forge "signature."
