Emap is reviewing its TV airtime sales contract out of Sky Media, prompting speculation that it will be moved in-house to create a cross-media sales point.
At present, Sky Media has the contract to sell commercial airtime on Emap's Q, Kiss, Kerrang!, Magic, Smash Hits and The Box branded television channels.
However, Emap Advertising retains responsibility for selling ad space in the channels' corresponding magazines and radio stations. The company does, however, retain a small team that is dedicated to putting together sponsorship deals and overseeing Emap's relationship with Sky Media.
