Trading firm Vitol has bought 500,000t of Okarem crude from Turkmen state-owned Turkmenneftegaz, according to a local trader. Vitol bought the crude on a fob Okarem basis, paying a $5.40/bl discount to Platts' Urals cif Mediterranean quotation.
