The management of OAO NK Yukos says it intends to sue OAO Sibneft after being prevented from replacing Sibneft's board at an extraordinary general shareholder meeting Sunday, March 28, because of an apparent lack of a quorum.

This current spat, analysts said, illustrates how the intentions of Yukos' core shareholders and its increasingly independent management are diverging, rekindling investors' fears the de-merger will be resolved not by friendly negotiations but through legal action.
