What's round, dark blue, fits in the palm of your hand and asks lots of questions? Give up? We could give you 20 clues, but you've probably already guessed what we're talking about. The name of the new game is 20Q. It's one of the neat toys that caught the Yak's attention at the toy fair. We thought it was so clever, we had to ask the creator, Robin Burgener, 20 questions about his invention and how he became a toy maker.
1. Did you play 20 questions when you were a kid?
Growing up, word games were a big part of my family life and we would often play them over dinner or on car rides.
2. Besides being the president of 20Q.net Inc., do you have another job?
20Q.net Inc. has been my fulltime job for almost two years.
3. What made you decide to create the 20Q Web site and later the electronic version of the game?
The 20Q.net Web site was created in 1996, based on work I started in 1988. Way back in 1988, the game ran from a floppy disc that I could share with my friends. Over the next few years, my friends and I played 2,000 games.
