When cost is not a factor, enthusiasts have no problem deciding what they like. The first choices for their dream garages can be as diverse as they are magnificent.

The Le Mans-winning '65 Ferrari 275 LM and '69 Ford GT40 would be a solid foundation for any dream garage.

Owen Lyons, Boonton Township, N.J.

An '03 Saleen S7 or '04 Ford GT would satisfy my need for an excessively impractical road monster. A '68 Shelby Mustang GT500 would be the practical vehicle in my garage.

Brad Kaye, Atlanta

A Porsche 959 would stand next to a '76 Pontiac Trans Am with a screaming chicken on the hood and a nitrous-boosted big-block.

Kyle Houchens, Buffalo, N.Y.
