Despite the dot-com bust, delivering services via electronic media continues to grow and will be increasingly important for all marketers. In the US close to 80% of the population has Internet access, with 61% having access at home. This pervasiveness of Internet use means that, while companies drove the dot-com boom, technology users will drive the growth of e-services. Inevitably the focus of attention will shift from the technology to how it is used and this shift will encourage more people to use it.
