We traded in a 2001 Mercedes S500 that, although a beautiful car, was in the shop 17 times in the three years we owned it. As former A6 owners, we appreciated Audi's reliability and cost-free all-inclusive maintenance. We are thrilled with the A8 L's performance, handling, comfort and reliability. Fit-and-finish, bodywork and paint all exceed that of our S500.

While the previous model was an excellent vehicle, Audi has rethought every detail and produced a car that is demonstrably superior. The A8 L superbly balances all aspects of the driving experience and exhibits no shortcomings. Two days after taking delivery we had our first significant snowstorm. While many other vehicles had trouble negotiating even moderate hills, our A8 L moved through traffic without ever losing its grip.
