2004 MAR 3 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The worldwide market for cancer vaccines will experience explosive growth in the next few years, according to a new study released from Kalorama Information. Triple-digit growth will propel the market to surpass the $1 billion mark by 2008.

The new study, The Emerging Cancer Vaccines Market: Worldwide Developments and Potential Markets, forecasts that the next 3 years will be very important ones for cancer vaccines. From late 2004 through 2007, there will probably be more than a dozen product launches, most in areas that have not yet seen a vaccine-based therapies. In addition to the more well know products on the way for melanoma and cervical cancer, there are late-stage products for lymphoma, pancreatic, lung, prostate, colorectal, and breast cancer.
