Cliff Sayre to Receive Connie Award
Clifford M. Sayre Jr., vice president, Materials, Logistics and Services for DuPont is the winner of the Containerization & Intermodal Institute's "Connie award of 1991.
Sayre, an outspoken shippers' advocate well known in the transportation industry, said he was "delighted" with the honor. "In fact, I don't see how I could be anything but delighted," he said. "It puts me with some august company."
Last year's award recipient was Hays L. Watkins of CSX Corp. Others include Malcolm P. McLean and Thomas B. Crowley.
