At 20 years old, A&E has never looked younger.

Win-a-home contests, airport anguish and the real-life family edition of "CSI" are just a few of the things found on the revamped network largely known for its epic period pieces and arty specials.

During last month's television critics press tour, cabler's senior VP of programming, Robert DeBitetto, unveiled the upcoming subjects of the cabler's award-winning series "Biography."

"A&E will tell the story of one of the most famous Brits ever to hit this side of the pond," he said. "No, I'm not talking about Sir Paul, or even Sir Elton. I'm talking of course about Simon Cowell. Look for his story, scheduled to coincide with the premiere of the new season of 'American Idol.'"

Next on "Biography": Pierce Brosnan, The Rock and even a "biography" of the film "Catwoman" toplining Halle Berry.
