MIAMI -- BURGER KING CORP. president Robert Nilsen resigned from the company for unspecified reasons, and BK chief executive BRAD BLUM expressed "mixed emotions" at the departure of the former Taco Bell chief operating officer. Nilsen, who joined the No. 2 burger chain a year ago, had been responsible for BK's systemwide operations, including company and franchised restaurants.
