A new variation of an e-mail virus purporting to be from eBay Inc. is circulating on the Internet.

The e-mail tells computer users they need to add shipping fees to an item purchased from the online auction giant. But clicking on the link takes the user to a phony eBay site saying the number is invalid. It also could trigger the download of a Trojan horse virus, according to network administrators at The Daily Record's parent corporation, Dolan Media.

Yesterday, the virus attacked a computer at the Daily Record after an employee received the e-mail and clicked on the link.
