Students to collect change for cancer patients.

During the month of February, Porter-Gaud students will be collecting spare change from home, family and friends to help save the lives of people throughout the nation who suffer from leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodg-kin's disease.

Last year, they were among 5 million students across the country who raised $10 million through the Pennies for Patients program. For the third year in a row, South Carolina's School & Youth Program was tops in the nation, raising more than $400,000.
