2004 FEB 11 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Aventis Pasteur and Aventis Pharma have joined forces to develop a therapeutic cancer vaccine program at a state-of-the-art cancer vaccine laboratory opened earlier this year in Ontario.
The laboratory, located in Toronto, houses Canada's first robotic arm for vaccine production.
The global cancer vaccine program, anchored in Ontario, has enlisted top scientists from around the world, as well as other innovative biotechnology companies located there, to research, develop and market therapeutic vaccines for cancer. The company has committed up to CDN $350 million over 10 years.
