4Kids Entertainment surged out of a 10-week base Jan. 26 on robust trade. The subsequent market sell-off knocked the stock back into its base. But it never fell more than 1% below its pivot point of 28.70. It's hugged the pivot the last four days on subpar turnover.
The entertainment licenser and TV programmer ran up big in 1999 on revenue from the hot Pokemon property. It grew revenue by triple digits the past four quarters as it bounces back from declining profit in 2001 and 2002. Analysts expect 116% earnings growth for fiscal 2003 and 53% the year after.
