Because the IBD 100 runs off of a computer program, the stocks selected are tapped based solely on objective criteria. Stock tanking? It may not make the next week's list. Stock shoots above 15 a share, or reports huge earnings? You may see it in the next week's IBD 100.
The IBD 100's constant flux is another reason to closely study the list every week. If you've followed the IBD 100 closely, you're probably getting familiar with such mainstays as Eon Labs, Urban Outfitters and Arrhythmia Research.
